Opening remarks. I will go ahead and share some opening remarks. My my opening remarks are brief. I am particularly thankful that we live in a a a a nation that has free and fair elections and that we live in a democratic republic and that we can participate in this process. And I would like to express my gratitude to staff for all that they do to, keep us compliant with the laws that are established by our state. And, thank you very much. I appreciate all that you do for for us in representing Cache County. So thank you. On we will also, do the pledge of allegiance. So please stand. stat sheet, our audit information, and our results. We do not have a precinct by precinct view for you. You can request it by me, but we also have it on our website. I assume you guys didn't want 90 pages of reading. So or 90 pages worth of. So we had a successful audit. We audited 200 ballots out of oh, jeez. I have the stat page. I should just read ahead. 14,636 that were, ballots that were counted. Our audit team consisted of, Mark Hurd, our county auditor, Matt Funk, and staff, Kyla Doyle, Michelle Stenger, Jennifer Zing, and then, Chad Clemens, and Talon Bigelow. We're there. Everything went swimmingly. We even made Mark and Matt, audit a batch that they didn't need to. That's how good we did. Any questions about the audit? Okay. Sweet. We'll move on, to our stats. So we had a 36.2% turnout, that is out of 40,465 active Republican voters. So only registered Republicans received. Oh, okay. 14,636 ballots were counted. 14,427 of those were mailed in. We had 43 vote in person. We changed our hours thinking more people would show up, and we got less. So our hours were from noon to 6PM thinking we can get people coming off after work and So

No. No. It's it's always about 75% of mail in ballots come from drop boxes. And then the others are from oh, is it 60? Well, I think we got sixty forty on this one. Yeah. Sixty forty. And usually the 40% usually comes from communities like Paradise, Cornish, Clarkston, Newton. They have drop boxes out there, but sometimes, I mean, they're just used to putting in the mail. It is a state code requirement that every city does have a drop box. So every city in town does have a drop box available to them. So from Cornish to Paradise, Wellsville to Lewiston, they got something. There was, five UOCAVA ballots counted. So UOCAVA is uniform overseas, so military.

Too far. 14 provisional ballots were counted, and we had zero emergency ballots. And the fun part, 14,636 vote histories were given, so we were we reconciled the entire election. So there was no discrepancies. 15 provisional ballots were issued and 14 provisional ballots were counted. One provisional ballot was not counted because the provisional ballot voter affiliated as unaffiliated. So we cannot open up that provisional ballot. Only a republican can open that. Well, he will be counted. So how did they get a ballot? It's provisional. So they had to come in and vote in person. So provisional is very similar, like, same day voting. So it's for voters of who recently moved. They didn't receive their ballots. They had to come in. Or, under state code, unaffiliated voters can affiliate in person by voting provisionally. So this person was unaffiliated and state and state unaffiliated, so we did not count that. We didn't open that ballot. So we had a 93.3% provisional acceptance rate. We had 307 challenged ballots, which means they either had signature issues. This year, it's the last four digits. So those last four digits weren't provided for us. And 48 of those were rejected. So our percentage of curable ballots that were not curable were only 15%, which is really, really low. So we we will be we were able to count most of the ballots that were had signature issues or number issues. In that case, you're calling people or emailing them and We call, text, email, carrier pigeon. We try all forms of communication to You said that small signal. I saw them.
